True Protein is now True Nutrition.  Around the springtime of 2012, True Protein changed their name because they do not only sell protein anymore.  They sell a wide variety of other supplements and also have supplements from other companies.

Why I recommend True Protein (Nutrition) to everyone I know…

True Nutrition Ultra Recession Whey

50lbs of Ultra Recession Whey
*Discontinued*
The New Deal is Even Better!

I lived in New Zealand for a year and found a great whey protein while I was there.  The NZ protein was amazing, contained no artificial fillers, and mixed without the need of a blender or shaker cup!

When I returned to America, I realized the protein that I was using in the past here was awful!  I decided to try True Protein.  Now I buy all my protein from them and normally go in on a giant 50lb order of Recession Ultra Whey Blend.  It ends up only being about $33 per 5lbs with shipping/handling.

UPDATE: At the end of August 2012, the Recession whey was replaced with an even better deal.  Now you don’t need to buy in bulk to get awesome prices!! You can can get “Whey Protein Concentrate – High Grade” for $5.99/lb ($5.69/lb for 16+ lbs).  Plus, if you use my True Protein Discount Code HLK926, you can save 5%.

I’ve read in some forums that a few people do not like the Recession whey’s from TN, but for the price, you can’t do any better.  Unless you get some crap from a bulk store that has artificial fillers and sweeteners and colors and who knows what else.  Plus, I mainly use the recession blends for my every day, in between meals, protein.  I have a few other specialty proteins that I get from TN for night time and post workout, but it’s usually pretty expensive so I like to get the best bang for my buck.

Paraphrased from TN’s About Page:

Our Objective: To generate a following and customer base in the powerful, exercise, muscle building and wellness world, not on fancy advertising arrangements, but solely on a track record as the company to go to, to locate the highest quality dietary supplements understood to everyone.

I may act like a 12yr old a lot of the time, but that's because I have a genetic defect that will not allow me grow up. HOWEVER, I do take strength training and fitness very seriously and I love using what I know to help others reach their fitness goals and avoid the bazillion mistakes I've made in my 25+ yrs of training. Since I don't know everything, I never stop learning. Note: I am no longer a "certified" trainer, but I truly understand more about fitness and health now than I ever did with that official piece of paper.
